Who better to describe life at Downe House than the girls themselves? See the School from a different angle.
At Downe House we describe our ethos as a ‘partnership with parents’. We encourage parents to come and support their daughter’s achievements.
Whether you left in 2018 or 1936, we love keeping in touch with our alumnae.
As a leading girls’ independent full boarding school for girls aged 11-18, we offer a huge variety of rewarding and fulfilling jobs.
We work hard to develop good relationships with the schools our girls come from. We also seek to develop lasting partnerships with a wide variety of schools through workshops, experience days and staff visits.
At its heart, DH LINKS is an invaluable network of alumnae and parents providing support and guidance on career options.
The Downe House community comes together annually during Founder’s Weekend to celebrate school life in this spectacular showcase of the girls’ hard work, talent and passion.
The Downe House Seniors’ Association (DHSA) was established in 1946 to build and maintain strong and lasting bonds between former pupils and the School.
The Foundation exists to celebrate the School community through events, communications and fundraising and also powers the School’s development activities.
