We are hugely proud of our girls who are celebrating an impressively strong set of GCSE results.

This talented and fun-loving group of girls are to be congratulated for their academic achievements and for the contribution they have made to wider school life and their own personal development alongside their studies – in sport, creative and performing arts, co-curricular activities and representing their Houses, as well as in the classroom. We congratulate all our pupils for whom personal commitment to their studies, along with the support of our outstanding teachers, pastoral teams, and their families, has been rewarded, despite the challenges they have faced in recent years.

Just under three quarters of our girls achieved 7 or more A*-A/9-7 grades. In addition to success in the core subjects, we are delighted to have seen impressive results across the curriculum with many faculties achieving a high % of  A*-A/9-7 grades, including Science (87%), Languages (86%), Creative Arts (83%) and Performing Arts (94%).

The girls are now set to flourish in our vibrant Sixth Form where this year they will be joined by an unprecedented number of new students, who have chosen to join Downe House for their A Level studies in September.
