Based on Roald Dahl’s beloved story, Matilda tells the tale of an extraordinary young girl with an exceptional intellect, an unquenchable love of books, and a remarkable gift that changes the lives of those around her. This abridged adaptation captures the heart, humour, and magic of the original story while celebrating the courage to stand up for what is right.
The Lower School students have approached this production with enthusiasm, commitment, and creativity throughout the rehearsal process. It has been a pleasure to watch them develop in confidence, grow as performers, and work together to bring this wonderful story to life.
