Open Arms Malawi provides essential care for Malawi’s orphaned and abandoned children, giving them the chance to achieve their potential within the love and security of a home. During their House Trip to Malawi, the girls visited the Baby and Infant Unit, played netball with the older children, were entertained by the Kukana Kuba Kasambwe Band, went hiking, learned Malawian dances and spent lots of time getting to know and understand the lives of the families supported by the charity. 

The second part of the House Trip took the girls to Bushman’s Baobab where they enjoyed a fabulous game drive and a boat safari sighting cheetahs, black mamba, elephants, hippos, crocs and warthogs.

We also thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous game drive in the idyllic setting of the Liwonde National Park and learning about the local industries in Chembe. We have all learned so much and it has been a truly amazing trip!”
