A Downe House day begins at breakfast and ends after the last of your daughter’s evening activities finishes.
The ‘Full boarding fees’ cover the cost of tuition, pastoral care, accommodation, all meals and break times during the full School day, laundry, personal accident insurance, the majority of educational materials and some stationery for each subject, and academic and enrichment trips as part of the curriculum. Also included is participation in School-run enrichment activities such as our extensive lecture and DH LINKS programmes, choirs and orchestras, and School productions, together with sports coaching and training. Also included is transport to and from sports fixtures, as well as many exciting activities run as part of our co-curricular and weekend activities programmes.
The ‘Full day fees’ include all of the above with the exception of accommodation and laundry. Downe House day girls enjoy the same extensive benefits as the boarding girls, but they return home at the end of each day.
There are additional charges for ‘Extras’ including music (instrumental and voice), Speech and Drama, individual language, dance, tennis and squash lessons, as well as some optional extra-curricular activities that girls are able to sign up for.
Fees are charged in advance at the start of each term.
