I had the most wonderful day meeting brilliant teachers and listening to inspiring and interesting speakers. It was one of the best conferences I have been to.

We are delighted that Miranda Hart, actress, comedian, writer and Downe House alumna, will be our keynote speaker – offering her reflections on education, and views on what schools can do to support pupils holistically and build character. She will be joined by a line-up of outstanding leaders from the education and business sectors who will talk on a range of themes relevant to today’s education landscape. The Conference will also feature a panel session with Alastair Land (Headmaster of Harrow), Emma McKendrick (Headmistress of Downe House), and Nicola Murphy (Founder and CEO of The River Group), discussing what schools should be doing to prepare young people for their futures – chaired by Tori Cadogan, Education Editor at Tatler.
We promise a very valuable and enjoyable day out – with first-class hospitality and the most delicious lunch (included in your ticket price)!
An objective of the Conference is to bring together educators from across the maintained and independent sectors so that we learn from each other: our programme of guest speakers and breakout session leaders is tailored to deliver just that – with a focus on all that schools do well to bring a sense of joy and excitement to learning, and the plethora of opportunities they deliver, to build character, spark interest and support talent.

Please note: each delegate can choose two breakout sessions to attend when booking (some sessions have limited numbers, so we advise you to book and select your choices early).
Delegates from the same school are strongly encouraged to travel together – either car-share or by train. Parking spaces (free of charge) can be booked in advance and we are also offering a shuttle-bus service to bring delegates from/to Thatcham Station.
We are very grateful for the support of our Sponsors – a range of highly rated companies offering fantastic products and services to schools. They look forward to meeting you at the Conference!
