Before the summer holidays, we launched a photography competition with the theme ‘Essence of Summer’. Last week, Miss Bloor, our Head of Photography, judged all the entries, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part. The standard was amazing, and we’ve all been so impressed by the creativity you’ve shown.
And now, we are pleased to announce the winners and runners-up.
For the Sixth Form, the winner is Tammy (Upper Sixth) with a beautiful photo of a sunset from a distance. It’s such a peaceful shot that really captures the mood of summer evenings. The runner-up is Totty (Upper Sixth) with a vibrant shot full of movement and energy.
For the Upper School, the winner is Maisie (Lower Fifth) with a stunning overview of a town, capturing its character and charm. The runner-up is Abigail (Lower Fifth) with a brilliant close-up shot full of life and detail.
And finally for the Lower School, the winner is Kelly (Lower Fourth) with a beach scene that really evokes the feeling of the summer holidays. The runner-up is Imogen (Lower Fourth), capturing the beauty of nature.
