Paris Trip 2026 Exploring Culture, Language and Art

Over the March Short Exeat, a group of Lower Fifth and Upper Fifth students visited Paris for a cultural and educational trip. The girls explored iconic landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe and Versailles Palace, capturing memories and practising their French along the way.

Despite an early start on Friday and a rainy first day, spirits remained high as the group climbed the Eiffel Tower and explored the city’s architecture and culture. A particular highlight was a street art tour of the 13th arrondissement, where the students learned about the history and political stories behind the artworks that line the streets.

Temi (UV / Year 11) said,

We saw so many of the attractions and had a lot of fun capturing photos of the Paris skyline.

Eva and Natalie (LV / Year 10) added,

It was an amazing chance to practise our language skills while exploring the culture, and the street art tour was a real eye-opener.

A huge thank you to Mme Wallace, Mme Rodgers and Miss Stonebridge for organising and guiding the trip, making it both educational and enjoyable. The Paris trip was a wonderful opportunity for students to explore new perspectives, embrace cultural learning and create lasting memories.
