Q&A
What were you most involved in at school?
Sport was a huge part of my time at Downe House. I was Vice Captain of the First Lacrosse Team and Captain of the First Tennis Team. I was also involved in mentoring and DH Links events — all opportunities I really valued.
What achievement are you most proud of?
Winning the Harvard Book Prize and becoming Head of York. Both meant a great deal to me.
Who inspired you most at Downe?
The staff. Their constant encouragement and support has shaped my journey here more than anything else.
Favourite memory?
Veyrines. That trip holds so many happy memories.
Best thing about Downe?
The academic and pastoral support — the teachers really believe in you and will back you all the way.
What has Downe House given you?
Maturity, independence, and the resilience to face setbacks with confidence.
Advice to a girl starting in September?
Say yes to every opportunity. They go fast, and they shape who you become.
Favourite DH meal?
Pork bao buns.
If you could have a superpower?
Teleportation — that would make life so much easier.
Future plans?
To work in finance or pharmaceuticals — making an impact in a challenging and fast-moving industry.
