Q&A 

What were you most involved in at school?
Music. I sang in multiple choirs including Prima Voce, played in Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, and was part of various ensembles. I also formed a band with friends and played bass — we even performed at Eton and Founder’s. 

What achievement are you most proud of?
Performing “Hot to Go!” with the band and passing my Grade 8 cello. 

Who inspired you the most?
My friends — they’re driven, creative, and never stop trying. Their energy has pushed me to work harder and believe in myself. 

Favourite memory?
Cosplaying Gerard Way for Happy Day 2025. 

Best thing about Downe?
The nature — peaceful mornings, pink sunsets, spotting cats around campus, and getting soaked by the sprinklers with friends. 

What has Downe House given you?
A community of inspiring women — from teachers to alumnae to the older girls I’ve always looked up to. They’ve given me hope and courage. 

Advice to a girl starting in September?
It’s better to try and fail than to never try at all. 

Favourite DH meal?
Chicken Katsu. 

If you could have a superpower?
The ability to manipulate space. 

Future plans?
Any kind of artist — as long as I’m creating something meaningful.
