The outlook is always global at Downe House. International trips form part of the programme for curriculum learning, co-curricular enrichment and elite level sports training.

In 2017 girls in the Lower Fourth joined with boys from Ludgrove School to travel to China on an exciting voyage of discovery which allowed them to experience Chinese culture, history and language.

Across the curriculum, our History of Art students have travelled to Rome and been lucky enough to have a private tour of the Sistine Chapel; Spanish students have travelled to Cadiz; History students have visited Ypres in Belgium and Italian students spent time in Florence.

In addition, our sports teams regularly benefit from intensive training in sports camps in countries such as France or Portugal; they have also been on tour in Europe, the USA and South Africa.
