The start of term saw the Murray centre alive with conversation and vivid displays as pupils new and old dived into the wealth of clubs, societies and new opportunities on offer for the year ahead at Downe House. From law society to computing, boardgames to Philosophy every corner of the Murray centre was full of enthusiastic pupils ready to get stuck in and learn all about what makes life at Downe truly special.

For many girls the Clubs and Societies fair offered an opportunity not only to pursue their existing interests and passions but to discover new ones. Our fantastic student leaders were on hand to inspire everybody with their enthusiasm, offering valuable insight into their respective clubs and societies all while making some new friends in the process.

Alongside all of the excitement, the fair also highlighted the importance of clubs and societies at Downe House. Not only do they offer the spaces for girls to develop the skills and knowledge that will serve them well into their adult life but also those invaluable opportunities to be challenged, to take the lead and to learn how to truly be themselves.
