In March, Downe House was alive with energy and excitement as we welcomed pupils from nine Prep schools for a spectacular Day of Musical Theatre! The day was packed with fun and creativity, as students rotated through engaging workshops in voice, acting, and dance – each designed to build confidence and celebrate performance.
Held across multiple venues on our school site, the atmosphere was electric as each group brought popular musical numbers to life. Highlights included vibrant renditions of You’re Welcome and How Far I’ll Go from Moana, the catchy We Don’t Talk About Bruno and The Family Madrigal from Encanto, and powerful performances of Schuyler Sisters and You’ll Be Back from Hamilton.
It was a joyful celebration of talent, teamwork and theatrical flair – a day our visitors and their parents (and staff!) won’t soon forget.
We can’t wait to do it all again!
