Visits & Open Mornings

The best way for you to make an informed decision about your choice of school is to take a look around – to find out more about Downe House we encourage you to come and experience it for yourself. Whether you choose to attend one of our Open Mornings, or join us for an individual visit, you are very welcome.

Individual visits

We love showing families around our School – your visit will give you a sense of our first-rate pastoral care and our rich and varied curriculum.  We hope you will be inspired by the people you meet, as well as our striking woodland estate.

An individual visit to Downe House will give you an opportunity to meet the Headmistress and tour the School with a member of staff – you will have the opportunity to ask all the questions you have in mind and talk to girls as you explore the site. Visits can be arranged most days during term time – please contact our Registrar, Miss Angela Nutt, or call her on 01635 204701.

Open Mornings

Our Open Mornings are a great opportunity to find out about the School in more depth and meet key members of staff, as well as hear from current pupils who will also give you a tour and a real sense of what it is like to attend their School.

We usually hold two Open Mornings each term, and have a limit on the number of families who attend – this ensures you get the very best experience of Downe House, so please do reserve your place in good time, or call the Admissions Team on 01635 204701 who will be happy to help you.
