Visiting the School

The best way to experience Downe House and gain a thorough appreciation of the education we offer is to visit us. You will be made most welcome.

An Individual Visit
If your daughter's entry to the school will be within the next two to three years, we recommend that you book an individual visit. This will give you an opportunity to meet with the Headmistress and have an individual guided tour of the school site. Please contact the Registry to arrange this.

Prospective Parents' Mornings
If your daughter's entry is four or more years away, a prospective parents' morning may provide the perfect opportunity for a general look at the school with or without your daughter.

Parents are invited to arrive between 9.30am and 10.00am. The morning commences with light refreshments and a chat with members of staff. This is followed by a short, informal presentation about the school before touring the site.

There is usually one prospective parents' morning every term, although we do restrict the numbers who attend, in order to make the visit more worthwhile, so do get in touch early. To arrange your visit, please email registrar@downehouse.net.
