The richness of learning provided within the classroom only goes part way to illustrate the opportunities that boarding at Downe House brings.  Believing in the importance of providing a broad and balanced education, we offer a comprehensive range of extra-curricular activities, with something to suit everyone.

Designed to instil a sense of adventure, encourage each girl’s natural curiosity and inspire a thirst for knowledge, our programme is extensive.  In fact, with such a full range of activities and opportunities in the evenings and at the weekends, there is simply never time to be bored.
