The Upper School had a lovely time at the Christmas Market in Birmingham this weekend. It is now the largest in the country and as you walk up and down the many stalls, it’s easy to believe.
The variety of festive goodies on offer is superb - authentic Finnish reindeer hinds, wonderful candles and lovely stylish jewellery, there really is something for all... even a carousel to keep younger visitors entertained.
The girls enjoyed the festive atmosphere and the delights of grilled sausages, pretzels, gingerbread, crepes and marzipan sweets. The smells were delicious and far too tempting for anyone to resist! ‘We really had a great day, returning only when we were totally shopped out!’ - Mrs Sofia McClymont, Assistant Housemistress (AGS).
