The Lower Sixth girls involved in Young Enterprise have been busy this month. On 1st February Downe House hosted a seminar open all pupils in West Berkshire who are participating in Young Enterprise.

The topics covered included presentations skills, writing end of year company reports, accounts and winding up their company.
4th February was the annual Young Enterprise Trade Fair in the Kennet Centre, Newbury. Our four teams worked hard to create attractive displays. On the day over 30 girls were involved in trying to sell their products to the general public and members of the Downe House community who dropped by to see them whilst shopping.
Our teams are currently offering the following products:
Fanomanom: Stylish eco-cups and clocks upcycled from old records
Mullido: Novelty headphones for iPods, Laptops and MP3 players
Xenia: Duvet duck slippers to keep your feet cosy in house, these are very popular in school
Chenita: Essentials for school such as Pukka Pads, warm hats and socks.
