Sophie Clavel, harpist of international stature, is pictured sharing her talent and passion for this beautiful instrument. The Choir sang the Finale from Creation, entitled The Seventh Day and written by Richard Errington, our Music Master.

It was a memorable occasion, not only for the girls, who sang in the choir, accompanied by Sophie and Richard, but also for the local community, who joined us for a short concert, after the Harp Workshop, followed by tea served by the girls. It has been featured in the press, locally and regionally.

Sophie Clavel studied at the Conservatoire in Paris and gained the coveted Premier Prix. She then continued her studies at the Juilliard School of Music in New York where she graduated with similar distinction. Most of her concert career was spent in Asia. She now lives and works in France in the Perigord.
