Upper Sixth student, Hermione Corfield, has secured a role in the new Disney film ‘Maleficent’.

Joining a wonderful cast including Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, India Eisley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Lesley Manville, Kenneth Cranham and Sam Riley.

The film is set to be directed by Robert Stromberg and will be a live-action retelling of the classic Disney tale Sleeping Beauty in the eyes of the villain. ‘Maleficent’ is due in cinemas in March 2014.
