We are delighted to announce that we have scooped up two prizes at the 6th National Russian Essay Competition.

Sapphire Bond came second in the Learners’ Category for her essay on “My Favourite Russian Souvenir” and has won tickets to see the Three Sisters by Chekhov at the Young Vic. And Sophia Donald has won a special prize (books, CD, DVD) for her original poster design with her book cover for a Russian fairy-tale.

The girls have done really well and their work is being displayed on the wall in the Languages Department in Garden House.
