On Sunday 13 January, the Remove and Lower 4 year groups took part in the annual DT & Science Challenge.
In small groups, they worked hard to complete both challenges for prizes. In the DT challenge, the girls worked in teams to make bird boxes which will be attached to trees around the school. An exciting challenge, the girls were judged on three aspects of their work: Team Work, Quality of Product, and Creativity.
In the Farr Centre teams took part in the Science challenge, which saw them building a “buggy” which had to push itself as far as possible. A very daunting test of ingenuity and team work, groups were judged Team Work, Distance Travelled, Speed, and Design.
With prizes awarded in each category and good fun had by all, it was another successful year for the Challenge!
