Major General Williams entertained a packed audience in the Concert Room speaking about “Prisoner No. 7”.
The talk dealt with the career, flight to Britain, trial at Nuremberg, incarceration in Spandau Prison and eventual suicide of Hitler’s Deputy, Rudolf Hess. The talk benefited from including Major General Williams' personal experience as a guard commander at Spandau Prison and from his visits with Hess in his cell.
