The Winter Swim Meet was held on Wednesday, 6 February and Downe House were competing against Wycombe Abbey, Queen Anne’s and St. Swinthun’s.

Cecelia (Cece) Kane broke the 10 year old school record for the Under 12 50m Butterfly 37.97 (prev. 41.57).


Here's Cece's reaction after hearing the news: "I am more than amazed I managed to swim the race in 37.97 and I was so proud to be wearing the Downe House hat. I’ve always loved the water and swimming is definitely my favourite sport (with gymnastics a close second)! 3 times a week of training has paid off (but not great for my hair!). I hope that next year I will be able to break my own record!"
