On Sunday, 27 November the final trials and training were held at St Swithun’s for the Junior West Lacrosse Team. The following Downe House girls have been selected.

U19A West: Lucy Lukic, Minty Naylor, Eliza Watson, Ellie Hillier

U19B West: Lucinda Barry, Camilla Bampfylde, Camilla Popplewell, Eloise Sarre

Lydia Rayne, the Director of Sport at Downe House commented: “It is a great achievement for the Downe House girls to be selected for the West Lacrosse U19 teams. We are hoping for a double victory in the A and B tournaments. The best lacrosse players across the country are fighting it out at St. Swithun’s on the 3rd and 4th December. The West team will play the North, East, South, Midlands and a Junior England Centex team.”
