Lower Sixth Former, Holiday Wallis won the local round of The RIBI Young Musician of the Year competition (violin) over the weekend and has won a place in the next round. She is through to the district round which will take place on Saturday, 9th March.

The RIBI Young Musician Final (hosted by District 1120) will take place on Saturday, 4th May, at The Longfield Academy in Dartford, Kent.

It will celebrate the talents of young musicians who have progressed from one of 1850 club competitions, through one of 29 district competitions before representing their district in one of 8 regional finals, culminating in 8 vocalists and 8 instrumentalists vying to take home the title of RIBI Young Musician of the Year in their particular field.
