One Icy Night on November 10th, an Ice Ball took place in the Farr Centre which was transformed even though there was a parents’ meeting until 3pm! They managed an impressive turn around to get this momentous occasion started just four hours later!

The room was encased in blue light with white and sparkles everywhere as if you had walked into a Winter Wonderland! There was even an ice sculpture of two leaping salmon in the middle of an impressive array of food, all beautifully arranged and delicious. This Ball was intended for charity and of course for everyone to have fun. Mrs Dixon introduced AGN’s new charity called Sparkes Home – a charity supporting four orphanages in Sri Lanka, just prior to the charity auction. Mr Moore was our witty auctioneer who convinced many parents to stick their hands up! An impressive sum of £3,269.82 has been raised. Thanks to all those who worked so hard to create such a special event.
