Last Tuesday, a group of five girls took part in the Stock Market Challenge at University of Southampton. The challenge consisted of constantly buying and selling shares in companies in order to gain profits. This exercise helped to improve the girls’ decision-making, communication and teamwork skills and gave also gave them an insight into a career in business.
