In August this year, Vice-Admiral Sir Charles Montgomery KBE, 2nd Sea Lord and Commander-in-Chief Naval Home command, presented Fr Simon Thorn with a Cadet Forces Medal in recognition of fifteen years’ service as a cadet officer RNR during full ceremonial Divisions at Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth in August.
