Mr Cain has, over the years, supported Veyrines in many different ways. He has generously shared his great talent as a musician and as a water colourist. We therefore wanted to mark his 20 years devoted service to all aspects of school life, not least in Veyrines.
Mr Cain was invited to share in a magnificent Harp Workshop given by Sophie Clavel, who graduated from the Paris Conservatoire with the coveted First Prize, followed by studies at the Juilliard in New York where she graduated with similar honours. The workshop was followed by a musical interlude performed by Richard Errington, our talented Music Master at Veyrines, and included songs performed by our choir. All in Mr Cain's honour as it was he who persuaded us to have a choir over two years ago. Jemima Oliver was our soloist and sang beautifully. The choir has become part of our musical life, offering enrichment to our community and to all the concerts we give for the elderly and the handicapped locally.
Merci, beaucoup, Mr. Cain!
