The Downe House U12 team took first place at the West Lacrosse Tournament held at St Swithun’s on Saturday, 17 March 2012.

The team won their section in the morning and were placed in the Premier Division for the afternoon.

The scores from the afternoon were:

Godolphin 4-1
QAS 2-0
St Swithun’s 3-1
St.Bart’s 5-0
St.Mary’s Calne 4-1

The girls played brilliantly. Lara Bracher and Georgina Tarling were outstanding and the whole team are to be commended on their effort and performance.
