Visiting the School

ReceptionYou are most welcome to visit Downe House and see the School in operation.

An Individual Visit

If your daughter's entry is within the next two to three years, we recommend that you book an individual visit. This will give you an opportunity to meet with the Headmistress and have an individual guided tour with a member of the house or teaching staff. She will introduce you to girls en route. Please ring the Registrar, Mrs Caroline Long, to arrange this.

An Open Morning

If your daughter's entry is four or more years away, a prospective parents morning may provide you with the opportunity to have a general look at the School. Similarly, if you would like to have the opportunity to show your daughter the School, then a prospective parents' morning may provide the ideal opportunity. There is a short presentation about the School and then girls take you on a tour of the school site. Please contact the registrar for details of the dates and times. There is usually one prospective parents’ morning every term, although we do restrict the numbers who attend, in order to make the visit more worthwhile, so please do get in touch with her early.
