Supported by a dedicated team of house staff and older students, our housemistresses take great pride in providing a genuine home environment.

Working in close association with parents, they also never forget the great privilege of being entrusted with the wellbeing of someone else’s child.

Getting to know each girl’s strengths, weaknesses, fears and phobias, they are on hand twenty-four hours a day to offer support, help and advice.

Housemistresses see ‘their’ girls on a daily basis. They wake them in the morning, meet them in the classroom, cheer them on the sports field and catch up with them after school.

Organising countless activities in the evenings, as well as excursions at the weekends, each housemistress views her role as a vocation, a true way of life.
