Holcombe House
Holcombe is in the middle of the main school building on the third and fourth floors between Aisholt and Tedworth. Girls start off by sharing with either three or four other girls, later sharing with one person or perhaps two as they progress through the school years. Many rooms have lovely views of the cloisters and the woods. The hub of house life is a large common room where social events and house meetings take place. All of the furniture was chosen by the girls to encourage ownership and respect. There are lots of books, DVDs and videos, as well as a large flat-screen TV and Wii console. |
